Falmouth Soul Sensation (FREE)

Cornwall’s Kings & Queens of soul return to Falmouth Oyster Festival on Thursday night for a FREE party to kickstart the evening entertainment on Event Square.

Formed as a community project for Falmouth in 2007 by Bob Black to give opportunities to young singers and musicians, the group has featured 20 vocalists, 5 bass players, 3 drummers, 4 keyboard players, 3 percussionists and 16 horn players.

With their sparkling female harmonies and upbeat horn section, the talented rhythm section drives this outfit through a joyous performance of individuals who simply love to play together, they’ve developed a reputation across the Southwest as one of the best party bands out of Cornwall.

Known for an infectious enjoyment of everything soul, expect classics from the likes of Aretha Franklin, James Brown, the Supremes and many more, with a sprinkling of modern classics for the fun of night.

Hold onto your hats, it’s Mad Dog McRea time!

Loading up the legendary Happy Bus for their Autumn tour, the 7-piece group are stopping off at Event Square to join in the antics of Falmouth Oyster Festival on Friday night with a brand-spanking new album in tow.

Mad Dog McRea blends a unique mixture of folk rock, pop, gypsy jazz, bluegrass and ‘shake your ass’ music. From self-penned songs of adventure, drinking, love and life to traditional songs of gypsies, fairies, legless pirates and black flies – Mad Dog never fail to capture their audience with their infectious songs.

These Mad Dog’s can only be described as a pop-up festival. Bursting with energy & colour, they have built a reputation for raucous live shows, blending original songs with traditional melodies and a dash of storytelling charm.

Giles Robson with Dave Keller

Multi award winning, internationally recognized Blues harmonica virtuoso, singer and masterful showman Giles Robson is joining the celebrations at Falmouth Oyster Festival 2026, with support from Dave Keller.

The only European artist to appear on Chicago’s legendary Alligator Records, who described him as “A blues giant, absolute master of the form”. He is 1 of 3 UK blues artists alongside Eric Clapton and Peter Green to win a coveted Blues Music Award in Memphis (The Grammys of the Blues).

Dave Keller is one of the finest Soul/Roots musicians touring the world today, recognized by some of the biggest names in music, including Rolling Stone & Elmore Magazine

Described as a “Magnificent Soul singer”, “Stellar” guitarist and a  “Songwriting genius”, Keller has released eleven albums of almost entirely original material, earning glowing reviews from practically every Soul/Roots publication in existence.

The Oggymen (FREE)

A proud tradition of the event, The Oggymen return on Sunday October 11th to perform the FREE Closing Ceremony of 2026’s Falmouth Oyster Festival.

Hailing from Falmouth, The Oggymen have built a reputation for tight harmonies and spine-tingling performances that convey the rugged beauty of the Duchy of Cornwall, audiences through their shared love of music and this beautiful county.

Entertaining both visitors and locals with their unique arrangements of Cornish and contemporary folk songs, they have won recognition for the passion and pride they convey through their music.
