
Falmouth Oyster Festival takes place on Discovery Quay (Events Square), Falmouth, TR11 3QY
The event can be very busy so we would recommend you leave your furry friends at home.
Dogs are permitted during the day but are not permitted for the ticketed entertainment with the exception of registered guide dogs.
Our food traders have a delicious selection of food including some amazing local seafood on offer so we kindly request that you support them as part of your visit. Our bars also serve a fantastic selection of drinks. You cannot bring your own alcohol or glass of any kind into the event.
Yes, families are very welcome and the whole event is family friendly, although under 18’s must be always accompanied by a responsible parent or guardian (age 21+), and under 18’s will not be permitted to enter the ticketed events without a responsible adult and ticket.
The festival is free to attend with no tickets required on Thursday and Sunday all day, and until 6pm Friday and Saturday. Access to the main marquee is ticketed after 6pm on Friday and Saturday.
The festival’s food and drink masterclasses are taking place at KONA and are also ticketed.

Where can I park?
The event does not operate official carparks but there are plenty of carparks in Falmouth to choose from.
Grove Place Carpark and the National Maritime Carpark are right on our doorstep being mere metres from the main festival marquee.

The main event takes place on hardstanding, and our stewards will be happy to assist you where possible.
We will have space to either side of the seating for the Chefs Demos for wheelchairs, please make yourself known to a steward if you require assistance.
Accessible toilet facilities are available at Grove Place Carpark. We will also have larger accessible Portaloo’s available on site.
There is a baby changing table within the accessible portable toilet unit at Event Square.More robust facilities are available at Grove Place carpark located a short walk away.
The event takes place on hard standing but please be prepared for high crowd density at peak times.
We will have an area within the main marquee with lots of picnic benches to enjoy any treats you have purchased in the warm and dry, as well as over 100 individual seats for the chefsdemonstrations.
Please note that some of the seating will be removed for the ticketed entertainment so we recommend that you arrive early if you want to grab a table.
Most of our traders and bars accept both card and cash – however the temporary WIFI network can be temperamental, so we do advise bringing some cash just in case.
Lost property will be situated at the info point / box office on event square.

Subject to availability you can purchase a ticket on the day via our website, but we would anticipate these events to be sold out in advance.
